Summer family fun with indoor-outdoor discovery in our Exploration Zone and woodland. Visit the Science Oxford Centre for a unique family experience this summer. Explore, discover and play in the Exploration Zone, where children and grown-ups alike have fun experimenting with interactive exhibits – create and test flying designs at the Air Table, build a giant magnetic ball run, and see what’s hot and what’s not with the Curious Camera.

Our Live Lab will also be in action at this event. Here you can meet with a real-life scientist or a member of our Science Oxford team to take part in an interactive activity or conduct a mini experiment of your own. This drop-in activity is included as part of your 2-hour Exploration Zone session.

With 15 acres of woodland and ponds, there's plenty to explore outside too. Thanks to Operation Earth, you can now pick up an Explorer Backpack and trail map and see what wildlife you can spot. And don't forget to create a splash with our amazing outdoor Water Lab.
